Programming The Populous by Biology e--------------------------------------------------------------| b--------------------------------------------------------------| g--------------------------------------------------------------| d--------------------------------------------------------------| a-4--4--4-4--6--7-----------------2--2--2-2--2--2-3------------| E------------------5--5--5-5--5--5---------------------4----2--| This is the intro played on bass e-------------------------------------| b-------------------------------------| g-6-----------------------------------| d-x--------7--------9--------6--------| a-4--------x--------x--------x--------| E----------5--------7--------4--------| This would be the verse e-----------------------------------------------------| b-----------------------------------------------------| g-9-9-9-9-11111111-13-13-13-13-14-14-14-13-13-13-13/--| d-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x/---| a-7-7-7-7-9-9-9-9--11-11-11-11-12-12-12-11-11-11-11/--| E-----------------------------------------------------| This is the bridge from verse to chorus also verse to verse in the beginning. Notice!!! Above is only the octaves played. You will have to listen for correct strumming pattern. Although each chord represents a eight note and fyi my tab displays the proper amount of time to stay on each octave thus making it easier for you. I'm a friendly person I know. If you feel the need to thank me, leave a comment. I almost forgot it has an alternate ending; displayed is the version played second. (notice the slide) e---------------------------------------------------------------------| b---------------------------------------------------------------------| g-6--6--6-6--6--6-----------------------------------------------------| d-x--x--x-x--x--x--9--9--9-9--9--9--4--4--4-4--4--4--6--6--6-6--6--6--| a-4--4--4-4--4--4--x--x--x-x--x--x--x--x--x-x--x--x--x--x--x-x--x--x--| E------------------7--7--7-7--7--7--2--2--2-2--2--2--4--4--4-4--4--4--| ^chorus^ e--------| b--------| g--------| d-----9--| a-12-----| E--------| This is the lead you here in the verses. This part is iffy because I'm not learning how to obtain that exact sound via effects just to learn how this little part is played exactly. If you are curious i would suggest lots of compression, delay, and probably chorus and it sounds like these notes could be bent in and out of tune. Good luck i hope you have fun playing this song if you have any request let me know and please rate!
